only for it to end up in sorrow.
Happiness and joy today

Broken hearts mended again and again
Becoming lovers after starting out as friends.

On the freeway of love we should never have strayed.
Love only complicated a glorified fling
Clouded the proceedings and left a painful sting.
Even thought about buying a ring.
